Updated on May 13, 2022
CMS pages are content pages where you can enter text and/or insert images.
You can use CMS pages to create your legal notices and T&Cs, or even to inform visitors about payment methods, shipping methods, etc.
You can create your CMS pages in Design > Pages
Creating and editing CMS pages
First, you need to give your CMS page a title. This title will be automatically used for the friendly URL.
The meta title must contain between 10 and 70 characters. Make sure that the title is clear enough and that it contains your most important keywords.
Your meta description must contain between 70 and 160 characters.
Meta descriptions allow you to influence how your pages are described and displayed in the search results.
Make sure each of your pages has a clear enough meta description and that it contains your most important keywords.
A good description acts as a potential advert and encourages readers to click on your site.
The keywords must be defined and be different for each page.
The HTML editor allows you to enter the content of your page. You can insert links and images.
You also have several text formatting tools.
Creating CMS blocks
When creating a new block, you can select where it will appear.
For the block to appear in the footer, select the "displayFooter" hook.
Managing blocks and pages
CMS blocks can be managed in Design > Link Widget.
You can edit the information block to add links to your CMS pages in the footer.
Just check the boxes for the links you want to add and save.
