I cannot log in to the back office of my Edition shop with my PrestaShop account

You are trying to log in to the back office of your shop with your PrestaShop account and you have the following error message: "You cannot access the back office with this account. Try another account or contact your administrator."
Access to the back office can be denied for several reasons. We will cover each of them in this article.
You have several PrestaShop accounts and you are currently logged in with the "wrong" account
By clicking on the button to access the back office, you are not prompted to log in and you see the error message instantly.
If one of your accounts is successfully logged in, you should see the following display.
Click on "Logout" to log out this PrestaShop account. You should have the following display.
Now you can:
- log in directly from the displayed page with the PrestaShop account you usually use to access the back office, then return to the back office login page. By clicking on the button to access the back office, you will not need to log in again and you will access directly.
- or close the displayed page and return to the back office login page. By clicking on the button to access the back office, you will be prompted to log in with your PrestaShop account.
If despite these manipulations you still cannot access the back office, then you are certainly in the situation below.
Your PrestaShop account does not have access to the back office
To log in to the back office with your PrestaShop account, the administrator of your shop must create access for you by declaring your account beforehand in the back office.
Note: the administrator of the shop corresponds to the person who subscribed to the Edition subscription on the PrestaShop website.
To declare your account, ask the administrator to log in to the back office with his account and then go to his profile as shown in the image below.
Then click on the "Employees" tab.
The list of employees who have access to the back office should be displayed.
Ask the administrator to create an access for you by clicking on "Add an employee".
Your employee access must have the same email address as your PrestaShop account, otherwise you will still not be able to access the back office.
Note: the password to be entered by the administrator only allows you to create access to the back office. You can log in to it using your PrestaShop account password.
Then return to the back office login page. You should be able to login with your PrestaShop account.
