Adding delivery information

Delivery costs should not be overlooked: they can easily double the final price of an order, and you should be very clear about them - customers hate unpleasant surprises.

The "Delivery" tab allows you to enter valuable details about the product packaging:

Width, Height, Depth, Weight : You should make every effort to fill in each of these fields, as knowing the size and weight of a package is not only useful for you, but also for carriers, as PrestaShop can automatically choose a carrier based on these settings. The final price of the order is displayed to the customer once PrestaShop (or the customer) has chosen a carrier.

These values use the default units for weight, volume, distance and dimension, as set in the "Location" page of the "Location" menu.

These values need not be limited to whole numbers. If your product weighs less than 1 kg, you can simply add a period (not a comma) to indicate the fractions:

• 123 kg
•  1.23 kg
• 0.23 kg
• etc.

Additional shipping costs. An indication that can be very useful for products that are particularly delicate or complicated to pack, or those that are very heavy.

Carriers. You can choose to allow this product to be shipped by selected carriers only. If no carrier is selected, then all carriers will be considered available to customers.
