Assistance by PrestaShop is a tool that we have developed to facilitate certain actions on your site in case of support request with our teams.

Why install this module?

It allows, among other things:

• To remotely activate debug mode;
• to empty the cache of your store;
• And above all, to connect to your back office securely without you having to communicate access in plain text.

With this module already installed and well configured on your store, our exchanges will be simpler and faster.

How to install and configure Assistance by PrestaShop?

Step 1: Install the module in your back office

Step 2: Configure access to your back office

This single option in the module allows you to keep control over our access to your site. For each request, we recommend that you activate the latter systematically. An employee will be automatically created in your back office, we do not know at any time the login credentials of this employee, please do not delete it during our intervention.

Special cases

This tool is not compatible for PrestaShop versions prior to 1.7.0.6 and unfortunately blocked by some server configurations and firewalls or system such as for example Cloudflare in some cases. For these reasons, we will sometimes need to ask you to provide us with specific employee access to your back office.
