Thanks to the Custom Image Block module on the homepage developed by PrestaShop, make your homepage more attractive by adding easily customizable image blocks and text blocks and seduce your visitors as soon as they arrive on your online store! Find below all the necessary information to understand and use this module.

Configuration tab

You will have the possibility in this tab to customize the display of your image blocks and text blocks to better adapt to the aesthetics of your store. This block will automatically place itself under your products on the homepage with our Classic theme. However, if you opt for our Lifestyle and Shopping themes, this block will be placed under your slider. You can, however, change its location from your back office in the tabs: Appearance > Positions > displayHome.

Step 1: Choose the type of display

In this first step, you can choose the arrangement of the image blocks and text blocks displayed on your home page. 4 types of display are offered to give you more possibilities of customizing the page. You can change the layout and position of images and text blocks there. You will also have the choice to display your blocks in full screen mode or in standard size.

Step 2: Adding content

This step will allow you to add and customize the content displayed on your home page blocks, including image blocks and text blocks.

First of all, start with your first image, you can choose an image per available language of your store. For the best display of your image, we recommend using high quality images.

Next, please insert the text of your choice in the first text block. Thanks to the advanced text field, you can change the size, color, change the layout of the text according to your preferences.

If you want to redirect your visitors to a new page when they click on the blocks, you can insert its URL in the dedicated configuration field.

If you have chosen the display formats with 4 blocks in total, the respective configuration fields for the second image and the second text block will be displayed.

Then, you can choose the size and font of your text.

Step 3: Customizing the display of blocks

Once the images and texts are added to the blocks, you will have the option to further customize their display.

Do you want to add a call to action button to your blocks?

• If so, please choose the color of the button and the corresponding text color according to your wishes.
• Do you want to display this CTA button on the image or on the text block?
• Will it be displayed at the top or bottom of the selected block?
• Will it be displayed on the left, in the center or on the right of the block?

Then you can choose the type of button that will be most suitable for your store. We offer 3 types of design: rectangular button, rectangular button with rounded corners or rounded button.

Finally, please insert the text for the CTA button (s). We recommend filling in this field in all the languages of your store for a better user experience.

At any time during the configuration of the module, you will have the opportunity to view your creation in real time.
