Lookbook - Image gallery (with addition to the basket)

The Lookbook module allows you to display a photo gallery on your store. Find below all the necessary information to understand and use this module.

Album settings

Appearance of the album

In this tab, you will have the option to add a title and description to your photo album or not. If you want to add a title and a description, you can edit them in the languages of your store. If you do not want to add any, then no text will be displayed to present your photo album on your store. The title and description can not be more than 100 characters but you can customize them as you wish using the text editors available in the back office.

In this first part, you will also be asked to choose a maximum number of images included in your photo album in the front office. Knowing that the maximum number of images you can add is 25. Save your configuration and move on to the next step.

Display of the album

In this step, you will be asked where you want to display your photo gallery. You will have the choice to display it either on your Homepage, your Product Pages or your CMS Pages (to know how to create a CMS page, click on the link under the positions). You can choose one, two or all three locations if you wish. The registration is done automatically as soon as the desired position is selected.

The last step in configuring this first tab, you are prompted to add text when the mouse is moved over an image in the front office. You will have the choice. You can choose to display one or not. You can customize the appearance of your text using the text editor provided. You just need to save your configurations and go to the next tab.

Add a picture of the computer

In this tab, it is about uploading the image you want to add to your photo gallery from your computer. You can easily add your image using drag and drop, or go to your computer's files to find the images you want to add. Once added, validate and move on to the next step.

Associating products with the image

Once your image is uploaded, you can click on it anywhere and a sticker and search bar will be displayed and you can then associate the product of your choice.

The search bar allows you to browse your entire catalog and search for and associate the product of your choice with your photo. You can add up to two stickers. Make sure you have placed at least one sticker on your photo before saving. You can change the location of the stickers, already placed, by clicking on the image again. The search bar will deploy again and associate it with the product of your choice. If you have associated the wrong product with your image, you can still edit or delete a sticker already placed to the right of your image, in the listing of products associated with your image. However, if you wish to cancel the addition of this image, you can click on Delete and you will be redirected to the listing of your images in the back office. If you want to save your configurations, click on Save and you will be redirected to the listing of your images.

Configure the images of the album

In this last step of the module, you will have access to the list of images of your lookbook. You can move them as you wish to change their order of appearance on your store. You can disable or enable them. The Bulk Action button at the top right will help you disable all your photos if you wish or vice versa. This action will be useful if you have a gallery with many photos.

Once all these configurations are complete, you will be able to see the result on your store! When you move the mouse, your text will appear on your photos. When you click on it, you will have the description of the associated product that will come up as well as two quick redirections: one on the product page of the product in question and one directly to the order page.
