Two options are available to install the PrestaShop EventBus module and benefit from the advantages of PrestaShop CloudSync.
Option A: Via MBO (recommended)
Simply install the latest version of the MBO module (PrestaShop Marketplace in your Back Office), available on Addons. MBO includes the necessary dependencies, notably PrestaShop Account and PrestaShop EventBus, so there is nothing else to do.
If you already have a version of MBO installed on your store, we recommend updating the module to benefit from CloudSync (you can check in the module manager).
Option B: Manual installation (if MBO is not possible)
In this case:
- Make sure that PrestaShop Account is installed, configured, and linked to your store.
- You can then install EventBus (refer to the article Installing a module if needed).
In case of issues
- MBO unavailable: switch to Option B (manual installation).
- Unable to install a module: check Admin rights and hosting policy (some hosts block module uploads).
- Error after installation: capture the error and versions (of PrestaShop and the module) and contact your agency or PrestaShop support.
- Conflict with another module: Temporarily disable recently installed third-party modules to isolate the conflict. Check for duplicate overrides.
