When the PrestaShop Checkout module tries to retrieve the ps_accounts token from the PrestaShop configuration, there can be instances where PrestaShop Checkout cannot find the required module controllers. This leads to an unexpected response which our system cannot parse, causing an error.

The simplest and most effective solution to this issue is to uninstall and then reinstall the module. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Uninstall the Module

• Go to your PrestaShop back office.
• Navigate to "Modules" then "Module Manager" section.
• Find the PrestaShop Checkout module.
• Click on "Uninstall" next to the module name.

Reinstall the Module

• Once you have uninstalled the module, reinstall it from the module manager or a Zip file downloaded on PrestaShop Marketplace. 
• Install the module.

Verify everything is functional

• After reinstalling, ensure that the problem has been resolved by attempting to configure the PrestaShop Checkout module.
