In order to comply with legal obligations, you must ensure that your store is compliant with the GDPR and provide the following pages:
- Legal notices.
- General terms of use and sale (GTU).
- Protection of personal data.
Add legal notices.
Legal notices are mandatory and allow a visitor to your store to know the publishing company.
To add the legal notices:
- Select Appearance > Pages from the left menu, then click on the Edit button located to the right of the "legal notices" line.
- In the "Page Content" section, provide the legal information of your company and then click on the Save button.
Add general terms and conditions of sale (GTC).
The general terms and conditions of use and sale are also mandatory. Your visitors must accept them in order to create an account or purchase a product.
To add the terms and conditions of use and sale.
- Select Appearance > Pages from the left menu, then click on the Edit button located to the right of the line "terms and conditions of sale."
- In the "Page Content" section, provide your company's terms and conditions of sale, then click on the Save button.
Add a personal data protection policy.
The personal data protection policy is part of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
To add the personal data protection policy:
- Select Appearance > Pages from the left menu, then click on the Add a page button.
- In the Title section, enter "Personal Data Protection".
- In the Page Content section, provide the personal data protection policy and then click the Save button.
