Modification of the rate and delivery time for home delivery

The manual home delivery method is activated by default in your shop. When a customer places an order with this delivery method, you will then need to manually send the order: prepare the order, pack it, edit the label with its postage directly on the Colissimo or carrier website of your choice, and then drop it off at the post office. To go further and automate the delivery logistics, useful when you have several orders per day, you can activate home delivery with Colissimo.

Manual home delivery is only activated for delivery in Metropolitan France.

What you will learn to do

• Modify the home delivery time announced when ordering. By default, the time is 3 working days, which is 1 day of preparation and 2 days of shipping via Colissimo. In this article, you will learn how to modify this default time.

• Modify the home delivery price announced when ordering. By default, the home delivery rate is €6.90 all taxes included for a shipment in Metropolitan France and free from €25 of purchase. In this article, you will learn how to modify the default pricing and delivery time.

Prerequisites

• Define the pricing and delivery time for home delivery. We invite you to start with a simple pricing system, i.e. based on the amount of the order and not on the actual weight of your products. To do this, you will need to enter the weight of each of your products.

Let's get started!

• Go to the "Delivery" > "Carriers" section and click on the "Home delivery" line in the Carrierstable.

• Please change the delivery time in the delivery time field, then click on "Finish"

• Open the "Shipping destination & costs" tab, change the delivery rate for the Metropolitan France zone and by price range or total weight (in this case, you will need to accurately enter the weight of each product in the product catalog), then click on "Save"
