Activate payment by bank transfer

Bank transfer (classic or instant) is a payment method appreciated by some customers, especially for large purchases or B2B transactions. In France and Europe, instant bank transfer is now widely available and often free of charge. Activating this payment method can therefore improve the customer experience and speed up the collection process. Here's how to do it in a few steps:

1. Access the menu

In your PrestaShop back office: go to Payment > Payment methods and click on Configure next to Wire payment.

2. Enter your bank details

Provide your IBAN/BIC data and any relevant information. This allows your customers to see the transfer instructions on the payment page.

3. Set the booking duration

Specify the number of days for which the order will remain pending receipt of the transfer.

4. Save and activate

Do not forget to click Save after each modification. The bank transfer becomes immediately available to customers.
