It may happen that you need to modify or add your VAT number on an existing invoice. However, the law prohibits making changes to an invoice that has already been issued.
To secure the legal aspect of this process, you will therefore need to contact PrestaShop support to request a new invoice.
If the purchase is less than a month old, it will then be possible to proceed as follows:
- Please provide your VAT number on your account. This article explains the procedure to follow.
- Place a new order with the same products and quantities.
- If you download the products: please ensure that you download them from the same URL that was used to download the products from the previous order.
- Send the support team the number of this new order.
- Our team will proceed with the refund of the previous order containing the erroneous information.
- You will then be able to access a new invoice that will be updated with the information you have added to your account.

💡 Specific case of Business Care: when you request a change on an invoice resulting from the purchase of a Business Care subscription, reactivation fees will apply when you purchase this Business Care again. Furthermore, discount vouchers cannot be used to purchase a Business Care alone. |
