With PrestaShop 9, you can create orders directly from your back office without creating an account (also called "guest orders").
1. Go to Orders / Orders.
2. Click on 'Add a new order'.
3. Click on 'Add a customer'.
4. Check the ‘Guest account’ box
5. You can then create the order as a standard order, the only difference being that the password field will be greyed out.

Frequently asked questions
Can a guest order be converted into a customer order?
Yes. The customer can create an account after making a purchase and retrieve their order history (if the email address is the same).
Can the customer modify a guest order?
No. Once the order has been validated, it cannot be modified by the customer, whether it is a guest order or not. You will need to carry out the operation yourself.
