Recently, one of the services that allowed connection from the back office to the Marketplace has been disabled, as it relied on outdated and insecure technology.
- For stores using PrestaShop 1.7.7 and above, the download via the back office functions correctly provided that the MBO (PrestaShop Marketplace in your Back Office) and Account modules are properly installed and configured.
- On the other hand, for versions prior to 1.7.7, there is unfortunately no native solution on the back-office side.
The recommended workaround involves going directly to the PrestaShop Marketplace site, authenticating with your account, downloading the .zip file of the desired module, and then proceeding with its manual upload in the back office.
