To ensure that your product feed can be synchronized with Google Shopping, make sure to include all mandatory attributes. For detailed instructions, please refer to the article on Product Data Specifications in the Google Merchant Help Center.
Here are the basic parameters to adhere to:
Include the basic data of the product.
- Product title: it must describe your product and correspond to the title of your landing page.
- Description: it must describe your product with detailed information and correspond to the description of your landing page.
- Link to your product's landing page.
- Link to the main image of your product: the image must not include overlays.
- Product category: all products are automatically assigned a product category from Google's constantly evolving product taxonomy. Providing high-quality titles and descriptions, as well as accurate information on pricing, brand, and GTIN will help ensure that your products are correctly categorized.
Provide identifiers in your feed.
To be considered compliant with Google and to be sent to Google, each product must correctly mention a valid identifier in the feed from the following:
GTIN
The GTIN value can be:

UPC (in America Nord/GTIN-12) 12-digit

UPC-E 8-digit codes must be converted to 12-digit codes. -
EAN (in Europe/GTIN-13)
Number with 13 digits like 3001234567892 -
JAN (in Japon/GTIN-13)

ISBN (for books)
Number with 10 or 13 digits like 1455582344 or 978-1455582341. If you have both, include only the 13-digit number. ISBN-10 are obsolete and must be converted to ISBN-13 -

Manufacturer part number (MPN, from English Manufacturer Part Number)
If your product does not have a GTIN, you must provide the MPN (which stands for Manufacturer Part Number).

Provide the price and availability in your feed.
Price: Accurately indicate the price and currency of the product, and ensure they match the price on your landing page and the price displayed at the time of payment.
The availability of the product must be stated using one of the following statuses:
- in_stock
- out_of_stock
- order pending
- preorder
In the case of a preorder, please indicate an availability date (also displayed on your product's landing page) using the following format: YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm [+hhmm]
Specific advice for clothing products in your feed
If you sell clothing products, be sure to include the mandatory attributes:
Size
- Example: S, 36, 43
Age group
- Newborn [newborn] for ages 0-3 months
- Baby [baby] for ages 3-12 months
- Toddler [toddler] for ages 1-5 years
- Children [children] for ages 5-13
- Adult [adult] for teenagers or older individuals

Group item identifier
Use a group item identifier for a set of products that differ by one or more of the following attributes:
Define the delivery parameters.
Delivery: specify the delivery charges for your product, the delivery times, and the locations to which your product can be delivered.
Tax: indicate the sales tax rate for your product as a percentage.
