How is the product rating system managed on the PrestaShop Marketplace?
Since May 3, 2021, our partner 'Verified Reviews' has been responsible for collecting reviews and publishing them to ensure their authenticity and transparency.
All ratings assigned before the implementation of this new rating system will be retained and taken into account in the calculation of the average displayed on the product sheets of sellers on the PrestaShop Marketplace.
On the other hand, only the comments collected from the launch of this new rating system will be published on their product sheets.
How can I rate the products I purchased on the PrestaShop Marketplace?
You have two ways to evaluate the products you have purchased:
- Access the form from your customer account: under the "Reviews" tab > "Give your opinion." You can give your opinion as soon as you place your order or download, without any time limit.
- Access to the form from the Verified Reviews email: which you will receive 10 days after the purchase or download of the product in question.
What are the rating criteria?
A single rating from 1 to 5 is required to evaluate the products you have purchased on the marketplace.
This rating combines both the quality of the module and the support provided by the seller, if you have benefited from it. A comment accompanying this rating will be requested from you.
Are all my reviews published?
If your rating is equal to or greater than 3 out of 5, it is considered positive, and the review is therefore automatically published on the seller's product page and visible to all users of the marketplace.
Conversely, if the rating given is less than 3 out of 5, your review will be temporarily blocked by our partner "Verified Reviews" for a period of 7 days, the time necessary for the seller to possibly get back to you to understand the reasons that led you to leave this review and find suitable solutions to your problem.
Your review will not be published until the end of this 7-day period, unless you change your mind or if a reporting procedure against the seller to Verified Reviews is accepted.
I would like to change my review. How to do it?
You can inform the seller from your customer account in the "Messages" section. The seller will take the necessary steps with the "Verified Reviews" platform so that you can receive a form to rate the product in question once again.
