What is PrestaShop Marketplace?

PrestaShop Marketplace is the official plugin sales platform of PrestaShop. You will find a wide selection of modules and themes to customize your PrestaShop store, as well as various services to help you manage your e-commerce.

The products offered on the Marketplace are developed by PrestaShop and its community of partners and experts. The after-sales service is provided by the developer of the module, theme or service you purchase, including through the Business Care subscription.

What is a module?

A module is a plug-in that allows you to add features to your merchant site. It is installed and configured from your administration interface, on the back office of your store.

Modules can add and improve many features, allowing you to:

• to optimize the visibility of your store (search engine optimization, on marketplaces, price comparators...)
• adapt your store to the local habits of e-commerce (payment methods, delivery services, GTC...)
• To personalize your store (home page, product sheet, search, faceted navigation, quick registration...)
• To optimize conversions on your store (site speed, online chat, reassurance, promotions and newsletters...)
• to simplify the daily management of your business (automation of logistics tasks, data export, promotion of all products...).

In the "Modules" menu, you can choose the type of features you need (Price Comparator, Data Export, Transport, etc.). You can also use the navigation on the left of your screen to filter according to several criteria:

What is a theme?

A theme designates the set of visual and functional elements of your front office. This includes the layout, colors, typographies, icons, menus, buttons and other graphic elements, but also features like navigation, the shopping cart, the product page, etc.

A well-chosen and well-configured theme will make your site attractive and easy to use for customers, while reflecting the brand's identity.

The themes offered on the PrestaShop Marketplace are ready to use: they are installed in just a few clicks on your store from your administration interface.

In the "Themes" menu, you can choose the industry that best suits your e-commerce (Electronics & High Tech, Art & Culture, etc.). You can also use the navigation on the left of your screen to filter according to several criteria:

• Language
• Last update
• Offers
• Demo available
• Developed by
• Review

The themes are displayed with images and photos to give concrete examples of the use of these themes: these are simply presentation ideas. Nothing prevents you from buying an automotive theme and using it to sell high-tech products! Make your choice of theme based on its general appearance and features, its home page, product presentation and its colors; any element that best matches your brand image.

Why create a PrestaShop account?

On the PrestaShop Marketplace, creating an account is necessary to buy and download products. The PrestaShop account also allows you to be more widely connected to the PrestaShop ecosystem.
