How is the rating system for products sold on the PrestaShop Marketplace managed?
Since May 3, 2021, our "Verified Reviews" partner manages the collection of reviews and the publication of these to ensure their authenticity and transparency.
All ratings given before the implementation of this new rating system will be retained and taken into account in the calculation of the average displayed on the product sheets of the PrestaShop Marketplace sellers.
On the other hand, only the comments collected from the launch of this new rating system will be published on their product sheets.
How do I rate the products I have purchased on the PrestaShop Marketplace?
You have two ways to rate the products you have purchased:
- Access to the form from your customer account: on the "Reviews" tab > "Leave a review". You can give your opinion from 10 days after your order or download.
- Access to the form from the Verified Reviews email: you will receive it 10 days after purchasing or downloading the product in question.
Note: About 3 months after purchasing or downloading the module, you will no longer be able to rate the product.
What are the rating criteria?
Only one rating from 1 to 5 is required to rate the products you have purchased on the marketplace.
This note includes both the quality of the module, but also the support provided by the seller if you have benefited from it. A comment accompanying this note will be requested from you.
Are all my reviews published?
If your score is equal to or greater than 3 out of 5, it is considered positive, so the review is automatically published on the seller's product sheet and visible to all marketplace users.
On the other hand, if the score given is less than 3 out of 5, your review will be temporarily blocked by our "Verified Reviews" partner for a period of 7 days, the time needed for the seller to eventually get back to you to understand the reasons that led you to leave this review and find the solutions adapted to your problem.
Your review will not be published until the end of this 7-day period, unless you change your mind or a seller reporting procedure to Verified Reviews is accepted.
I would like to change my opinion. How to do it?
You can inform the seller from your customer account in the "Messages" space. The seller will do the necessary with the "Verified Reviews" platform so that you can receive a form to rate the product in question again.
