The Pop Promo (Popup) module developed by PrestaShop allows you to create and display a pop-in that every customer sees upon their arrival at your store. This module can be used to announce a special offer, a new product, to increase your community on social media, etc. Below you will find all the necessary information for understanding and using this module.
The configuration of the module is done in 2 tabs:
- The image manager in which you can import as many images as desired for your pop-ups.
- The configuration in which you set up one or more pop-up campaigns with your saved images.
Image manager.
Click on "Upload Images" to save new images in your image manager.
Choose the language in which you wish to display this image, the file to download, as well as the name of the image.

You will be able to find all the uploaded images with their assigned names. Click on Preview to display the desired image or on delete. Above the table, you can sort by language to display the images available for each language.
Settings
In this tab, you can access all your already scheduled pop-up campaigns. By default, these are disabled. You also have the option to modify, delete your campaigns, and view them by language.
Click on Create a new notification, add the name of the campaign, a start and end date (you may leave these fields empty), as well as the duration of the pop-up. Then choose a language, an associated image, and a redirect link when your customers click on the pop-up (if you wish) and repeat the process for certain/all languages of your store. Finally, choose the size of your image in pixels.

What image size should I set?
The default size is 500x500px. Nevertheless, you may define other dimensions that better correspond to your image.
How many times will the pop-up be displayed in my store for the same visitor?
In order to comply with the recommended practices for this type of communication format, once the visitor closes the pop-up (which appears on the first page they visit on your site), they will not see it again during their browsing session.
What should I do if my pop-up does not appear?
- Please ensure that you have properly enabled the pop-up in the configuration tab.
- Click on the "Clear Cache" button and refresh your front-office page.
