Custom Block Homepage

Thanks to the Custom Image Block module on the homepage developed by PrestaShop, make your homepage more attractive by easily adding customizable image and text blocks, and captivate your visitors as soon as they arrive at your online store! Below you will find all the necessary information for understanding and using this module.

Configuration Tab

In this tab, you will have the opportunity to customize the display of your image blocks and text blocks to better suit the aesthetic of your store. This block will automatically be placed under your products on the homepage with our Classic theme. However, if you choose our Lifestyle and Shopping themes, this block will be placed under your slider. You will nevertheless be able to modify its location from your back office in the tabs: Appearance > Positions > displayHome.

Step 1: Choice of display type

In this first step, you can choose the arrangement of the image blocks and text blocks displayed on your homepage. 4 types of display are offered to you to provide more customization options for the page. You will be able to change the layout, the position of the images and the text blocks. You will also have the option to display your blocks in full screen mode or in standard size.

Step 2: Adding Content

This step will allow you to add and customize the content displayed on your homepage blocks, including image blocks and text blocks.

First, start with your first image; you may choose one image per available language from your store. For the best display of your image, we recommend using high-quality images.

Next, please insert the text of your choice into the first text block. With the advanced text field, you can change the size, color, and layout of the text according to your preferences.

If you wish to redirect your visitors to a new page upon clicking on the blocks, you can insert its URL in the dedicated configuration field.

If you have chosen the display formats with a total of 4 blocks, the respective configuration fields for the second image and the second text block will be displayed.

Then, you will be able to choose the size and font of your text.

Step 3: Customization of the block display.

Once the images and texts have been added to the blocks, you will have the opportunity to further customize their display.

Would you like to add a Call to Action button to your blocks?

• If so, please choose the color of the button and the corresponding text color according to your preferences.
• Would you like to display this CTA button on the image or on the text block?
• Will it be displayed at the top or at the bottom of the selected block?
• Will it be displayed on the left, in the center, or on the right of the block?

Then, you will be able to choose the type of button that will be most suitable for your store. We offer you 3 types of design: rectangular button, rectangular button with rounded corners, or rounded button.

Finally, please insert the text for the CTA button(s). We recommend that you fill out this field in all the languages of your store for a better user experience.

At any time during the module configuration, you will have the opportunity to view your creation in real time.
