The PrestaShop Marketplace brings together a vast selection of modules, themes, and services to enhance your PrestaShop store. They are developed and managed by various entities:
- by PrestaShop;
- by partners;
- by PrestaShop with partners: the "Essentials" modules;
It is an ecosystem that may seem complex; here are some tips and tricks to help you navigate the Marketplace!
Choose your display language.
To change the language of the Marketplace, please go to the footer. The available languages are listed on the very last line, which includes the following languages:
English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian.
Please note: Do not confuse the language of the Marketplace interface with the countries that can purchase products.
Choose your reference country.
To change the reference country, go to the footer and then to the dropdown menu. The country you will choose as the one from which you make your purchases will modify:
- The available products.
- The available payment methods.
- The date format on your invoices.
Choose your currency.
At the bottom of the Marketplace, you can select the currency in which you will settle your purchases.
Three currencies are available (depending on the type of payment): euros, British pounds, United States dollars.
Access the product sheets.
You can find an initial selection of products by conducting a keyword search in the search bar.
Or by selecting a theme from the drop-down menu Modules or Themes.
Refine your search.
When you arrive at the results of your search or on the page of the chosen theme, you have several filters located on the left side of the screen. To refine your search, two filters are particularly useful:
The PrestaShop compatibility filter, to ensure that you have a selection of modules compatible with your store.
The language of the module, that is to say, the languages of the module's interface. Please note that the language of the product sheet does not always correspond to the language of the module.
Identify the important information on a product sheet.
Check the Description and the Features for the functionalities of a module and its compatibility.
Test the product.
You may test certain modules in a demonstration environment. Click on "Try the demo" to observe the behavior of the module both in the back office and in the front office of a store.
You may contact the module developer if you have any questions regarding the product, particularly to ascertain whether the module meets your needs, your version of PrestaShop, and the configuration of your store.
