⚠️ Important note: This article addresses the older versions of the PrestaShop Account module (v7 and below). A new version of our PrestaShop Account module (v8) now includes a new automatic verification mechanism that can resolve association issues and disconnections. Therefore, please ensure to use the PrestaShop Account module starting from version 8. |
During the attempt to associate your PrestaShop Account with your store, you may encounter certain errors. Here are some steps and tips to resolve association issues:
1. The association error prevents you from installing or configuring other modules.
- Please go to the module manager.
- Uninstall the Account module, ensuring that you check the option to delete all associated files.
- Clear the store cache.
- Reinstall the module using the ZIP file available on the Marketplace.
- If you do not have access to your module manager, please contact support.
The following error message is displayed: "Your shop is already linked and verified. You are not the owner, you can't unlink this shop."
- Check if an old email address was already associated but the unlinking did not function properly.
- Request the user who made the association to perform the unlinking.
- If this is not possible but their account is still accessible in the back office, change the password and perform the unlinking.
- If you do not have access to the account nor contact with the person who made the association, please contact us and we will be able to assist you.
The following error message is displayed: "The shop has not been verified. Reason: Error while sending tokens".
Please check if the PrestaShop Account module is up to date.
- If the module is not up to date, please update the module.
- Attempt the association again.
If the module was indeed up to date:
- Please verify with your provider that your domain is using Cloudflare.
- If this is the case, in the Cloudflare activity log, you will find an action with the status "Block" when you attempt to associate your store.
- Authorize this request and retry the connection.
If the blockage did not originate from Cloudflare:
- Please verify with the assistance of your hosting provider that its settings do not block the call to your store (Firewall, proxy, etc.).
The following error message is displayed: "<psaccounts>integration: Given context is invalid: 'currentShop.url' must be a valid URI."</psaccounts>
- This error occurs when the name given to your back office contains spaces.
- Modify the name of the back office directly from the FTP by removing the spaces.
- Then verify that access to the module is available again.
